How to get to Tembe Elephant National Park and Safari Lodge

Tembe is a four-and-a-half-hour drive on a tarred road from Durban - or a six hour drive from Johannesburg, Gauteng. Once you arrive at Tembe’s gate, you will be met and directed to the secure parking area where you can safely leave your vehicle for the duration of your stay. From there, you will be driven in a 4x4 to the lodge. From then on all game-drives and transport around the lodge are provided under the supervision of an experienced guide. 

Tembe may be remote, but is very accessible - whichever way you choose to get there. Just let us know your transport preference and we'll do the rest.
